Remove the hassle of manually associating products to each other with our auto related module.
This extension extends Magento’s out of the box related products. If none are set by the administrator it will automatically pull in a random set of products from a category that the current product belongs to.
Caching
To keep things quick we have added per product caching. By default this has been set to one hour so if you make any changes to the settings you will need to clear your block level cache. You can disable caching by editing the settings (system -> configuration) and changing the cache lifetime variable. Setting it to 0 will cause the block to never be cached.
Post Installation
After installation make sure you clear your cache. If you have compilation turned on, make sure you recompile.
Because this module comes with some configuration, you must logout and back in again to the admin area to be able to see it. This is because Magento caches the ACL list in your session which means by default you will not have access to this modules settings.
