We've updated the currently available Magento versions at MageCloud to reflect the latest releases that came out yesterday. These updates also include the latest security patches. All of these products have been tested to make sure that they work properly within our infrastructure. Here are some of the highlighted changes that came with these updates.

We decided to find out about some of the less discussed Magento figures, like the number of available extensions at Magento Connect or the number of professional developers, who work with Magento. Or the oldest running Magento version that actually powers stores. You would actually be surprised how old it is. This was just a fun research into the Magento world, which we decided to turn into an infographic. 

Of course, most of the numbers are approximate, as some figures are not that easily extracted, as a lot of these are not available publicaly. One thing is certain about these numbers - they speak much louder than words: Magento is the biggest and the most robust eCommerce platform out there. 

As you can see, we're constantly updating our product to make sure that its value is growing for our users. This time we're making some cosmetic updates, which will make starting up a shop with MageCloud a lot easier. These updates also offer more options for visual enhancement of stores, hosted at MageCloud.

Last year we came up with a short list of predictions about the state of eCommerce. Most of them came true, as mobile eCommerce played even a bigger role last year, Magento 2 built up a great hype around itself and is starting to gain momentum. This year promises to be even more exciting, as Magento 2 brings in more clients and eCommerce takes advantage of all of the latest tech. 

It's been a great year for MageCloud and we wanted to say a big 'Thank you' to our users, partners and anyone, who follows our company.

Needless to say that this has also been a great year for Magento, as a platform. We've seen tons of great events that took place around the world, attracting even more people to the biggest eCommerce platform in the world. We've seen the introduction and launch of Magento 2. It looks and feels great and everyone in the community is very excited about its future: Marketplace launching in Q1 2016 and all of the other great features that are going to be steadily introduced to the platform. 

We wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the milestones that we achieved in 2015. Many of these couldn't be possible with your continuous support and dedication to our platform. We're also full of plans for 2016 that, we hope, you'll be as excited about as we are.

However, a lot of us never consider Reddit as a great place to learn something  new about Magento or eCommerce in general. That's why I wanted to highlight some of the most useful Reddit communities that any Magento professional should follow. These offer exceptional educational opportunities and allow you to solve even the most complicated issues with the help of Reddit's hive mind.

MagentoLive Australia was focused on Magento 2 and did have a lot of its aspects covered in a number of sessions. But if you followed the event and still have questions about the platform - this upcoming seminar will provide answers to a lot of them. Here's what you can expect. 

MagentoLive Australia is over. It was a great event with some amazing sessions and speakers. We weren't able to attend, but we tried to follow it as much as possible to get a taste of it.

The event offered some amazing insights about Magento 2.0, eCommerce, store management and other aspects of running an online business. Seeing Magento 2.0 grow stronger and stronger is great. We already have the first globally launched Magento 2.0 store - Venroy. This is absolutely great.
