It's been a great year for MageCloud and we wanted to say a big 'Thank you' to our users, partners and anyone, who follows our company.

Needless to say that this has also been a great year for Magento, as a platform. We've seen tons of great events that took place around the world, attracting even more people to the biggest eCommerce platform in the world. We've seen the introduction and launch of Magento 2. It looks and feels great and everyone in the community is very excited about its future: Marketplace launching in Q1 2016 and all of the other great features that are going to be steadily introduced to the platform. 

We wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the milestones that we achieved in 2015. Many of these couldn't be possible with your continuous support and dedication to our platform. We're also full of plans for 2016 that, we hope, you'll be as excited about as we are. 

2015 in Numbers

We've done some great things over the past 12 months and we hope that all of you would be able to appreciate the progress that we're making every day with our platform. Some of our most important milestones:

 2000+ users have signed up for MageCloud in 2015

 9000+ extensions are currently available for our users 

 40+ global Magento companies have joined our Partner program

 Magento 2 support launched in Q4 2015

 We've partnered with Amazon, Softlayer, Google, Rackspace and Digital Ocean to provide our users with the greatest cloud hosting options

These are just some of the important updates that have been implemented this year. We've also worked on becoming a part of the Magento community with our continuous coverage of Magento conferences, meetups and other events around the world. 

2016...What's Next?

Well, 2016 is promising to be a great year for Magento and its community. We certainly hope to be a part of this eCommerce revolution. We're building new features for users that we hope can make their MageCloud experience even more satisfying. Here's a couple of things that are planned for us:

 Multi-language support with content translated into at least 4-5 other languages.

 Extended 'themes' functionality will offer even more themes for our users. We're thinking of creating exclusive themes - available only through MageCloud.

 More content initiatives that will be executed through our blog, Magento knowledge base that is also planned for next year, newsletters and other available channels.
