AWS S3 CDN for product images
S3CDN extension copies product images uploaded to Magento from the server to Amazon AWS S3 storage. It seamlessly changes the URLs of product images on product and category pages to use S3 or CloudFront locations.
Normally Magento resizes original images on the fly to serve the size requested by the code of the theme. S3CDN extension prepares images of multiple sizes known to be used in the theme and uploads them all to S3 to avoid resizing at run-time. You will need to check your theme for the list of sizes used in it.
