Fixed Gross Price
Magento works with fixed net prices by default. The merchant always sells for the same net price. The gross price depends on the tax rate of the customer's destination country.The origin country defines the tax rate included in the product's gross price you set in the backend.
If your customer's destination country has a higher tax rate, a new higher subtotal gross price is calculated for the customer. Your customer will be surprised by the higher price in the last checkout step.
This extension makes Magento work with fixed gross prices. All customers pay the same subtotal gross price, but get a different tax value shown according to the destination tax rate. As consequence, the merchant has to sell for a lower net price sometimes.
The second version is compatible with Magento versions older than 1.6 and it works also for orders created in the backend.
