Indian Rupee Currency Symbol Everywhere
Since version 1.0.0.1, the stability setting has been updated to stable because people were having problems switching the security options.By default for Indian Currency is displayed the text "Rs".
This extension enables you to replace "Rs" by the Indian Rupee Currency Symbol "₹".
The change will have effect everywhere in the frontend (product listings, shopping cart, checkout., my account history,..), in the adminhtml (grids, reports, dashboard..), in all emails (to customers) and all pdfs (invoices, shippments..).
At anytime, the same button can be used to toggle between the displayed "Rs" and "₹" currency symbols.
Go to System->Configuration->General->Currency Setup and click the button to toggle the Indian Rupee currency symbol everywhere.
Remember to clear var/cache after each toggle.
