Use Image Captcha to protect against unwanted spambots in magento product review form.

You know how many robots/spam bots browse the internet searching unprotected forms. Therefore, if you have opened form for unregistered users you need to protect it with captcha to avoid spam attacks :). This module will use Magento Native Image Captcha in product review form.

Easy Installation

  1. Disable Magento Cache
  2. Install Extension & setup using Magento Connect
  3. Enable extension from Admin > System > Configuration: "Enable Review Captcha"

Installation to a custom template/theme

If you use a custom template or theme you should copy the extension’s layouts, templates and skin files to your custom template or theme. The folders that should be copied:

app/design/frontend/default/default/template/review/form.phtml
app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/reviewcaptcha.xml
skin/frontend/default/default/js/captcha.js

You should copy them to

app/design/frontend/your-template/your-theme/template/review/form.phtml
app/design/frontend/your-template/your-theme/layout/reviewcaptcha.xml
skin/frontend/your-template/your-theme/js/captcha.js
