This module is great for non technical users who want to benefit from minifying their category content without any danger of them breaking the site.
Usage
Easy to use, once installed simply navigate to your websites System Configuration and open up Mash Read More Settings. Here you can globally define how many paragraphs you would like to show by default. The functionality is then implemented globally throughout the rest of the website.
You can disable the plugin on specific categories by navigating to Catalog > Manage Categories and simply deactivating the read more functionality.
