Overrides the default email templates with ones that work right away, without all the tedious setup ;)

Compatible with Magento 1.x

Red2Black_EmailOverride

Overview

This extension replaces some of the default email templates; specifically the ones that use the Magento logo and show store business hours as 8am to 5pm PST. These email templates are overridden safely with ones that can be used without further modification. You won't lose these templates if you upgrade, and you won't have to tediously edit them all and then change each one in the configuration and hope you didn't miss any ;)

Usage

Install however you please.

Copy your logo_email.gif (email logo file) to:

/skin/frontend/default/red2black/images/logo_email.gif

to replace the placeholder one I left there.

Go into Admin->System->Configuration->General->Store Information->Store Name and add your store name. This variable is used in the templates. Add the phone number as well because that is used in some too.

If you want to further modify the email templates that begin with r2b-* go ahead. They won't be overwritten when you upgrade Magento. You can also modify the emails in admin like usual.

The only thing this does is tell Magento config to use my modifed email templates instead of it's own. My templates will haveyour logo in them (once you upload it), and the emails won't have the store hours 8am-5pm PST in the sales templates. There's
