A Magento extension for pre-filtering search terms based on keywords in the front-end.
Using this extension, you can remove specific words or phrases from a user's search term. This is helpful for sites that put a brand name in their product names. For example, if your site has a number of Brand Name products, search for "Brand Name Model Name". You'll notice that including the keyword Brand Name has hijacked your specific product search and turned it into a general brand search!
With this simple extension, you can add words or phrases that should be removed from any search on your site. That search for "Brand Name Model Name" becomes a search for "Model Name" only and returns the relevant results.
